Like many, I have long preferred Skyn condoms. They are industry standard for good reasons. They are latex-free, come in many sizes, and I’ve never had one break.
Well say goodbye Skyns, because the Flex condoms by One are miles better.
One is an excellent condom company. They sell condoms in dozens of sizes, and if you have a penis you can get condoms sized to fit you perfectly. Highly recommended.
The Flex condoms came out in 2024. They are made of a combination of latex and graphene, which makes them extremely strong while also being thinner than any other condom I’ve ever used. Thin enough that I sometimes worry they actually have broken and there’s no barrier at all. But no, they are just that good.
They even make me enjoy covered blowjobs (not my favorite, but always available to those who prefer them). There is not the powdery texture of the Skyns, and the thinness means that my tongue can feel every ridge and vein. It quite literally feels like there is nothing there. As someone who loves to give head and would happily do so for hours, this is a game changer.
Also they are black. How cool is that? It’s due to the graphene and that is technologically very interesting, but mostly they make a penis look like batman. Incredible.
There are a couple of drawbacks. The circular packaging is harder to open than the square Skyns, especially if one’s hands are already covered in lube. Annoying, but manageable for a determined user.
More importantly, so far Flex condoms only come in one size and that size is not very forgiving. They seem to fit best on penises less than 6” long and less than 1” in diameter. They certainly can be wrangled onto a larger penis, but only with a good amount of effort that isn’t particularly sexy, and to me feels far too aggressive.
Since the Flex condoms are fairly new, I’m hopeful that One will offer more size options in the future.
In the meantime, Flexs are my go-to condoms, though I also keep Skyns on hand for the latex-sensitive and for penises that don’t appreciate being woman-handled into a slightly-too-small sheath. Even if it makes them look like batman.
